Meet Jerry Kok
Jerry Kok is a community advocate and public leader committed to strengthening neighborhoods, supporting local businesses, and ensuring transparent leadership.
With many years of volunteering and leading community organizations, Jerry's involvement has brought him to the position to take the next step in leading Maple Ridge forward.
Jerry is running as an independent because it allows him to look at the community as a whole and listen to people without being tied to a group’s agenda. It means every voice can be heard, and there’s no internal pressure for councillors to vote a certain way. Independence makes it easier to collaborate honestly, find common ground, and focus on what matters to residents rather than what benefits a slate.

It is very important that everyone comes out and votes. Remind your family and friends, help them get to the voting stations.
